    Built and ran developer operations for a fully remote independent game publisher across a 20–30 title active slate. Owned the full developer relationship lifecycle from initial evaluation through milestone reviews, release management, and post-launch performance accountability. Held greenlight and termination authority over the full title portfolio. Set and owned OKRs tied to Steam review scores, on-time delivery, and developer satisfaction.

    • 129 titles shipped under operational oversight across 3+ years.
    • Rebuilt the curation framework and developer engagement processes — improved the pipeline from initial partner outreach through greenlight decision.
    • Built and deployed internal AI-assisted production tools to support the remote international team.

    The through-line — founded in 2006 and running concurrently with studio and publisher roles throughout. Consulting engagements for developers and executives across the industry. Self-taught programming to expand from pure production into hands-on implementation. Designed, built, and self-published 9 mobile and VR titles solo under KnightStar Games, managing the full product lifecycle from concept through submission.

    • Johnny's Trash Day was the most successful KSG release.

    Co-founded an independent mobile studio in Santa Monica, designed original IP from the ground up — core loops, systems design, progression — and shipped four titles on iOS.     Led creative direction and game design for eight NFL-licensed titles across HTML5 web and mobile, working directly with the NFL on IP — the RushZone universe, the Guardian series, Frankfurter Fling, Rusher Go.     Consulting engagement through KnightStar Enterprises. Advised the CEO and executive leadership on game development strategy and the tablet game market. Led search, screening, and hiring recommendations for Game Designers and external developers. Created and managed an internal Game Design think-tank, providing ongoing creative and strategic direction.

    Owned production and direct budget responsibility across the full UFC franchise extension portfolio — mobile, handheld, fitness, and online/social — with budgets ranging from $2M (mobile/handheld) to ~$40M (UFC Personal Trainer). Primary point of contact with UFC/Zuffa developer relations across all assigned titles.

    • Co-designed a strap-and-pouch peripheral system adapting Wii and PS3 Move controllers to track full-body movement across arms and legs for UFC Personal Trainer.
    • Secured access to the UFC Ultimate Fitness Gym in Las Vegas and managed a professional multi-day film crew shoot with UFC fighters and trainers for in-game content.

  8. 2005 – 2009

    Drove handheld (DS/GBA) and Wii production across major licensed franchises, building a strong first-party Nintendo platform relationship through repeated collaboration with Vicarious Visions on Spider-Man 3 and the entire Guitar Hero On Tour series. Managed production budgets up to $48M across three simultaneous development teams, internal QA, and external talent.

    • Co-designed the 4-button Guitar Hero Guitar Grip with Vicarious Visions — the 5-button prototype proved unplayable in handheld testing.
    • Co-designed motion-activated sensor peripherals for Tony Hawk's Motion and Hue Pixel Painter.
    • Attended Hollywood briefings and film previews at DreamWorks for the Kung Fu Panda IP.

    Joined to build a development team for a licensed Aliens title (20th Century Fox) — project cancelled before start. Pivoted to support Fight Club production (mocap, VO, localization) before taking full ownership on 50 Cent: Bulletproof, leading 66 staff plus external contractors across the full cycle.

    • Managed a mid-production budget cut requiring 35% staff reduction — restructured scope, schedule, and feature set without missing ship date.
    • Coordinated multi-day recording sessions for 50 Cent: Bulletproof with 50 Cent, Eminem, and Dr. Dre, including meetings with label leadership at Interscope Records.

    Placed on-site by Atari to oversee production of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines across PS2 and Xbox, collaborating with Atari and Cinergi Films throughout — securing film assets, IP approvals, and coordinating talent capture.

    • Directed cyberscan and VO sessions with Arnold Schwarzenegger for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

    Joined to lead design on the BattleTanx franchise, then promoted to create and own an original brand — World Destruction League — from concept through launch. Built and managed a team of 23 staff plus contractors, delivering World Destruction League: Thunder Tanks as a PS2 launch title.

    One of the company's earliest employees, growing from a hybrid level design, QA, and technical support role into Senior Game Designer overseeing a team across multiple concurrent military simulation franchises. Built missions and environments for Comanche, Armored Fist, Delta Force, and the F-22 and F-16 series — with military authenticity ensured through direct consultation with active-duty Air Force pilots, tank commanders, and Delta Force operatives.

    • On-site hardware research at Marine Corps Base 29 Palms — reviewed M1A1 Abrams tanks and M3 Bradley fighting vehicles with the development team for the Armored Fist franchise.
    • Managed QA and Customer Service, handling inbound technical support for DOS-era PC titles.
